2017 Conference

"Dynamic Partnerships, Relevant Results"

The California Association of Resource Conservation Districts (CARCD) happily continued the tradition of bringing together the conservation community from around the state. The 72nd Annual CARCD Conference highlighted and celebrated "Dynamic Partnerships, Relevant Results," from November 15-18, 2017 in Sacramento, California.

Conference Overview

Over 250 professionals  attended the Annual Conference in November, including conservation practitioners, scientists, private landowners, legislators, non-profit partner organizations, and State and Federal agency representatives. Participants participated an unparalleled opportunity to build new and strengthen existing partnerships, become acquainted with locally-driven conservation programs throughout the state, and explore opportunities for innovation through the cross-pollination of ideas.

The robust agenda featured a Day of Training designed exclusively for RCDs by Solid Ground Consulting, a Soil Health Summit presented by East Stanislaus RCD and NRCS along with two additional days of panels, breakout sessions, poolside chats and more.
