    A community planting day is set for 10am to noon on Sunday, January 13 at Capay Open Space Park. The park is at 15063 County Road 85, Esparto. Community members are invited to help the Cache Creek Conservancy and the RCD plant native plants at the park, and about 15 volunteers are needed. Tools will be provided, and volunteers should wear appropriate clothing, closed-toed shoes, and bring their own water bottle. The planting days will happen in light rain, but it will be cancelled if it is raining heavily. Contact Tanya Meyer at [email protected] with interest.
