Eastern Kern County RCD will be hosting a workshop irrigation and soils on Friday, February 22 from 11am to 4pm at the Maturango Museum. The first part will feature UCCE advisor John Karlik on plant water needs. The second half will feature NRCS soil scientist Peter Fahnestock on working with desert soils. Admission is free.
