Advocacy Skills Training for Women Farmers & Ranchers in California

The Occidental Arts and Ecology Center (OAEC) and CalCAN is offering a fully funded four-day sustainable agriculture policy advocacy training for women farmers and ranchers on November 9-12, 2017 at OAEC. 
All participants will be active farmers and ranchers in California who are wanting to step up their understanding and influence in state sustainable agriculture policy. 
The training will focus on understanding the sustainable ag policy landscape in California, avenues for policy change, skills development as advocate, and networking with more experienced women policy advocates. 

The training will:

- include 30 women of diverse backgrounds and experience in agriculture and ranching in California
- take place at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center in Sonoma County in our beautiful new facilities
- serve all organic gourmet meals
- provide highly experienced trainers who participants can continue to work with after the training
- be provided at no cost to invitees 

Please use this link to register. We will ask for $100 registration fee to hold your space, but this fee will be returned during the training. The training is offered at no cost to you.
