SB 94, signed by Gov. Jerry Brown on June 27, attempts to harmonize medical and recreational cannabis regulations. To that end, SB 94 repeals MCRSA, includes certain provisions of MCRSA in the licensing provisions of AUMA, and creates a single regulatory scheme known as the Medicinal and Adult-Use Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act. The webinar will detail how Prop. 94, AUMA and MCRSA effect local agencies’ ability to regulate such commercial uses.
