Day at the Capitol, Part I: Partnerships with local government (Offsite)

This panel discussion will feature RCD success stories on partnerships with local government agencies including contracts for services, restoration projects, and securing line-item funding from the county.

Learning objectives:

• Hear a range of ideas for how to work with local government partners. 
• Explore successful approaches for introducing your RCD and your services to potential local government partners.

Information about Wednesday's Free Day of Training for RCDs

Wednesday is CARCD's free day of training for RCD staff and directors. There are two tracks to choose from and we request that you commit to the one that best suits your interests.

Track 1 sessions are focused on skills development for RCD directors. RCD staff are also welcome to participate.

District Managers are encouraged to attend Track 2 sessions. Afternoon sessions for the second track will be offsite at the State Capitol in downtown Sacramento.

There are two ways to sign up for the free training sessions:

1. Sign up when you register for the conference, or
2. If you have already registered for the conference, fill out this separate Wednesday Special Events form
